The Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival coincides with the launch of the Jabu Birriny (land + sea) exhibition at the Menmuny Museum Gallery. Jabu Birriny was developed by the State Library of Queensland in partnership with the Yarrabah Arts and Cultural Precinct, and celebrates the unique environment of Yarrabah and its ongoing importance to culture and people. The exhibition will launch on Friday 14 June with a free gala, including arts, dance, fashion and other cultural displays that showcase Yarrabah’s rich cultural history. The exhibition will officially launch on Saturday 15 June with free entry, artist talks and cultural tours.
